03. Johnny Thunder (born Gil Hamilton in Leesburg, FL) who’s recording of Loop De Loop climbed all the way to #4 on the Billboard Magazine Top 100 in February of 1963 passed away earlier this week at the age of 93. He also spent time as a touring member of The Drifters. He also recorded the original version of Tell Her in 1962 which became a Top 5 hit for The Exciters in 1963 as Tell Him.
